CHARACTER INFO
NAME: Kizaki Banjou
CANON: Ann Cassandra
REFERENCE LINKS: http://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?id=30612

CHARACTER INFO:

One day, Kizaki Banjou received a book. Contained within this book was a great deal of photographs. The photographs weren't all that great, some were torn, some were burnt, and others were badly taken, but they all had one thing in common. All the photographs depicted deaths, specifically deaths that had yet to happen, and the very last photograph in the book was of Kizaki Banjou himself, dead underneath a blooming cherry tree on his 20th birthday. Banjou knew what he had to do. In order to prevent his death at the age of 20, he had to prevent all the deaths that were predicted before his.

And so Banjou worked on this alone, until he met a girl named Bekku Nanaki. She, like him, was also a clairvoyant, but her predictions came from mirrors. After saving a neighborhood in Tokyo from burning, they decided to work together, becoming Prediction Breakers and saving lives, overcoming the forces of the Prediction Enforcer Makita and the Cassandra Mask.

Although he calls breaking predictions a game, Kizaki Banjou does value the lives of the people that he is saving. When he finds out that breaking predictions has sometimes injured other people, he's crushed and feels that his feats up to that point mean less. Since that time, he strives to make sure that any prediction he breaks concludes with no one dying or getting injured. Banjou is willing to put his own body on the line to help keep that possible. He is incredibly optimistic, feeling that so long as the chance to break a prediction is not 0%, then he can accomplish it. In spite of him knowing that he might die in two years, Banjou is still an upbeat and friendly teenage boy, who is sometimes a little blunt with his statements and a great love of takoyaki.

CONSIDERATIONS:

Banjou will essentially be the same person he is with his memories: friendly, energetic, optimistic and a huge dork. One main difference will be his willingness to put himself into danger. Without his memory of the prediction of his death at the age of 20, Banjou will be more cautious and won't put his life on the line a lot. Depending on the order that Banjou gets his memories, he could easily revert to his canon personality or probably have a slight breakdown (depending on if he dies in a game before learning he's not supposed to die until he's 20).

SKILLS:

In order to break predictions, Banjou has acquired a great deal of skills, not limited to: lock picking, construction equipment operating, bomb defusing, and an AMAZING tolerance for pain. He also has great endurance and athletic skills.

And most importantly, Banjou can make some damn good takoyaki.

Because I could not stop for Death,
He kindly stopped for me;
The carriage held but just ourselves
And Immortality.

We slowly drove, he knew no haste,
And I had put away
My labor, and my leisure too,
For his civility.
