☇ IT'S A TRAP THAT GOES BOOM (Ch. 7) (Significant - Negative) [Game 30]
What happens
here to page 38
Banjou is rushing to pick a locked door so he can prevent an apartment room from exploding. He thinks that the ringing alarm clock is what is going to cause the spark that causes the explosion. He stops it, and turns to the mannequin on the floor, thinking it's his friend Chiasa. Except, it's plugged into a socket, and when Banjou moves to pick it up, it becomes unplugged. The explosion happens as planned.
What this means
I... blew up.
Raccoon is not going to get from this memory that he survives by hiding beneath a table. But uh, more to come when he takes it. :|b
OKAY, so Raccoon pretty much thinks that he's dead in his world now. There really seems to be no way for him to survive an explosion like that. It really shocked him to see that.
So Raccoon is definitely going to be more willing to put himself into more danger during games. Having already died, getting maimed or dying more times is not going to mean much. Also, he's repressing most of the feelings he received from the memory. Coral was there to comfort him, and Rabbit pointed out that they care for him. And Banjou is telling himself that even if he can do no more good at home, he can do a lot of good here in Aather, which is true! But thinking that he's died really threw him for a loop, and it's going to take a while for him to really bounce back from it.
