Memory 19

Memory: ☇ talking with Bekku on the school roof (Ch. 2) [ Trivial - Negative ]
Game: 84; Narcissus
Form: Memories come in the form of laurel wreaths. Wear ‘em to get the memory! No sharing :(

from here to page 9

What happens:
- in spite of his injuries, Banjou rushes to school to talk to Bekku (just noting the injuries that are visible: right arm broken, left arm bandaged, IV still in his arm, head is bandaged, no visible leg injuries)
- in front of their class, Banjou states that he wants to learn more about Bekku and wasn't able to because he was detained by the police and paramedics
- BEKKU PUNCH
- they head up to the roof of the school so that they can talk in private
- Banjou learns that Bekku is able to use mirrors to break predictions
- he also learns about her limitations (2,3 days before it happens, longest was a week; unsure if she can make a prediction whenever she wants to)
- Bekku knows that Banjou is predicted to die when he's 20
- he asks her to cooperate with him
- "You are the 'eyes', that's it... All the risks will be left to me."
- 0.007 SECOND REJECTION; refuses to help Banjou
- and so begins the stalking

What this means:
- first full on conversation between them about their clairvoyance
- limitations for both of their powers
- persistence is key

Raccoon learns why he started stalking Bekku in the first place. He now knows that Bekku is a clairvoyant like him, but unlike him, her predictions are not limited to the photographs. Rather, she is able to see them whenever she looks into a mirror (or rather a reflective surface as shown in the Makita and the mall memory). His persistence for breaking predictions, and ultimately, stopping his own death, knows no bounds. Raccoon will probably be surprised at just what he is capable of when he sets his mind to it. As it is, this memory will likely up his persistence for doing things and will also up his thought process that all the risks should be left to him.
