memory... 17 i think

☇ receiving the book of predictions (headcanon) (Significant-Neutral) [Game 79]

What happens
This happens shortly after Banjou's parents have died, sometime during his final year in middle school. He finds an old tattered notebook amongst his parents' things and while he flips through it, he finds nothing but pictures, and all the pictures show nothing but deaths. He's shocked at first, but keeps on flipping through it, and the very last photo shows an older Banjou, dead beneath a sakura tree, with the date of his twentieth birthday on his watch. He accepts this book of prediction as being real and begins to form his philosophy that guides him through to the end of Ann Cassandra, which is basically: if I can stop all these predicted deaths, then I can stop my own.

Also included in this memory is Banjou's attempts to copy the book and it's photos, which all end in failure.

What this means
WELL, this is quite the memory to take as soon as he returns to Aather, but this memory provides two important pieces of information as to who Banjou is. 1) It tells him how he knew about events that were going to happen. He has a book of predictions! He figures out what happened in those photos and prevents it from happening. 2) He's going to die when he is twenty years old. This is the thing that is going to shock him the most. He's received memories of him doing things that are extraordinary, that should have killed any regular man (I see you there explosions and kicking down clock towers) but he lived. This did create a sense of... I guess immortality? in Raccoon, that Death doesn't want him. Now he understands that Death wants him, but just not yet. He understands that he has been godmodded to not die for another year and half or so. He's going to deal with that sort of knowledge most likely by just repressing it for the moment. The most important thing he's going to get from this is an increase in his suicidal actions during games. If it is a bad game and there is a very good chance that Coral may get hurt badly, Raccoon will now actively knock his team out and take all the damage himself. I'M GOING TO DIE ANYWAY, MIGHT AS WELL GET USED TO IT.

So in short:
> Raccoon has returned to Coral.
> Raccoon will now DIE for Coral.

also at some point I should do write ups for the memories I had pre-drop.
